Carrickmines Golf Club is what is probably best described as a hilly parkland/meadowland course. The club was founded in 1909 and, as its members will tell you, the course provides an excellent test for players of all abilities. There are a few long par-4s which will certainly have the mid to high handicapper working hard to make their par before heading off to the next tee, while some of the fairways are also very tight. The course in general and the greens in particular are always well maintained at Carrickmines.
You can be assured of a warm welcome both on the course and back in the clubhouse. Visitors are welcome but not on a Wednesday and a Saturday.
